Programme at a glance

Programme type
Competency-based programme (WatchGuardONE) with specialisation-based tiers and an MSP pricing track
Margin model
Discounts by status level, plus more on registered deals; percentages aren't published. Gold and Platinum partners can earn quarterly rebates of 3% for hitting a sales target and 2% for growth above 10% a year, and Platinum partners (or Gold with three or more specialisations) earn another 2% after US$30,000 MSRP of FireCloud, NDR and MDR sales. MSP pricing applies one discount across the portfolio, based on total seats managed.
Partner tiers
Registered Reseller, Silver (one specialisation), Gold (two to four) and Platinum (invitation only). Each specialisation needs a sales-certified person, a technically certified person and a purchased not-for-resale (NFR) unit. There is no minimum revenue.
Best for
MSPs and IT service providers delivering managed security to SMB and midmarket customers

How to read the charts
  • Charted entries have been checked and scored by indyrct, and show when we last verified them. Sighted entries are compiled from public sources and aren't scored yet.
  • The Value Radar scores a programme out of 10 on four things: Propensity, Profitability, Priority and Presence. A bigger shape means a stronger programme for partners. The total is out of 40.
  • Partner requirements are what a partner has to meet to join or keep its status, such as revenue targets, certifications, requalification or credit checks. We rate them Light, Moderate or Demanding.
  • A dashed, empty radar means we haven't charted that programme yet. 'Not published by vendor' means the vendor doesn't say publicly - not that the programme lacks it.
